How Do I Add Products

You have the ability to add and amend products at any time. In order to add a product you will need to add category, product specification & trade details. To get started, Click ‘My Galloi’ on the top right of the page and click ‘Sell’ and then ‘Add Product’

Category specification : Select from 3 category levels provided and then select your product, if not provided in list please select 'Other' and add in your product name

Product specification : Enter in the type of product, you also have the option to select from colour, packaging and use of a product. After this you can add a minimum of 2 images of your product
.
Trade Details : Provide your pricing, minimum order & delivery details for your product. Finally a text box is available to provide any information on the product

How To Sell?

Once you have registered yourself as a Seller with Galloi you will need to fully set up your profile page in order to start selling to potential new customers. The ‘My Galloi’ link on the top right of each page is your access point to your profile. Click ‘My Galloi’ on the top right of the page and click ‘Sell’ and then ‘detail’

Information requiredOnce in 'My Galloi' you will need to enter information about your company

  • Basic info : Your  company name, address, other contact details and logo
  • Company info : Detail on your operations and delivery/shipping
  • Services : Provide a description on your business
.
Adding ProductsWhen completed you will need to add the product/s you want to sell by clicking ‘product list’ and then ‘add product. Please refer to Adding/Amending Products FAQ for further information

How Do I Amend Products

You can view or look to amend any one of your product/s added in your profile.
    .
  • Click ‘My Product List’ when in ‘My Galloi.
  • Select your product, this can be searched by date, price or letter
  • Click ‘Edit’ option on the bottom right of the product listed . You can edit any information of the product uploaded & update or remove any pictures

Product StatusGalloi has an added functionality in order to allow you update the status of your product if out of stock or inactive, you can look to update this under  ‘Trade Detail’
DeletionIf you are wanting to completely remove an product, please click ‘Delete’ on product list page under ‘My Galloi’

What is Shop Info & Rating Info

Shop Info is a small box located on each supplier profile, the purpose is to provide a quick summary on the most important elements of your profile.

Rating Info is located next to the Shop info box, this summarises the ratings feedback you have received on your product, delivery and overall company
.
 

What Payment Do You Accept

Galloi uses Credit/Debit card & Paypal for membership payment. However we only accept Paypal for transaction. If you are using Paypal then you will need to have a business or premium account.

Delivery

Upon sale of your product, you will receive the order detail on your registered email. The order will have the delivery address and detail of the transaction, including a breakout of the postage* and commission charged by Galloi. You are also able to print your order

*Postage details included if added in profile settings & dependent on you allowing Galloi to override your business account settings in Paypal

Update StatusIn order to keep the buyer informed throughout the delivery, you have the ability to change the status of the order. The following options are available : Pending, On-hold, Processing, Completed, Failed, Refunded, Cancelled

Galloi Sales Policy

The sales contract is between each individual "seller" and the “buyer”. Galloi provides a service to facilitate that contract but is not responsible for it or its fulfillment.

Sellers must post items purchased within three (3) working days of receiving payment unless otherwise clearly stated on the product description OR if the buyer’s identity and / or address cannot be authenticated, in which case sellers must notify Galloi staff by emailing us at support@galloi.com Please refer to legal guidelines for further information

Galloi Buyer Policy

The sales contract is between each individual "seller" and the “buyer”. Galloi provides a service to facilitate that contract but is not responsible for it or its fulfillment.

Buyer must pay for items purchased by you, unless the seller has made a clear typographical error or you cannot authenticate the seller’s identity. You and you alone are liable for paying the seller if you commit to buy an item.

How To Buy

Once you have registered yourself as a buyer with Galloi you will need to fully set up your profile page before searching for potential new suppliers. The ‘My Galloi’ link on the top right of each page is your access point to your profile

Information required : Once in ‘My Galloi’ you will need to enter information about your company

    • Basic info : Your  company name, address, other contact details and logo
    • Company info : Detail on your operations and delivery/shipping
    • Services : Provide a description on your business

Buying products : Upon selection of product click ‘Add To Basket’ and confirm quantity & price. Click 'checkout' and confirm delivery address and order, finally proceed to checkout with Paypal. Please refer to ‘Buying with Paypal’ FAQ for further info

Buying With Paypal

Galloi only uses Paypal to process it's payments. It is easy to set up and can be done so on Paypal website. You can pay by credit or debit cards if the seller has enabled in their Paypal settings

If you do not see the option to pay by credit or debit card via Paypal, please contact the seller to ask them to update their settings to allow users to checkout without a Paypal account

How Do I Amend My Order

Before you finalize what you want to buy, a confirmation page will come up for you to double-check what you want to buy. You can remove any product that you do not wish to order
.
If you have already placed the order and want to cancel then you may need to contact the supplier via the Galloi mail or directly in order to cancel the order.

Can I Track My Order

Yes you can!
.
Once the supplier has received funds for the transaction he will be able to update via Galloi on the status of the product. The following status updates are available : Pending, On hold, Processing, Completed, Failed, Refunded, Cancelled

The buyer will be able to check status by going into My Galloi > Buy > Order History Tracking is dependent on the supplier updating his sales history

How Long Does Delivery Take

When you are ready to purchase your items, you will be able to choose from different shipment options provided by the supplier. Based on what you select this can range from 24hrs to 14 days, location of supplier can impact delivery times

Galloi Refunds Policy

When using Galloi, sellers agree that the buyer has a right to terminate the contract and return the item even if the item is not faulty in any way (this is the consumer's right in UK law). They have the right to do this up to seven days after receipt of the items and a refund must be made within thirty days.
.
Cancelling a transaction : The buyer must inform the seller if they wish to cancel the order and they must do this in writing . Upon cancellation of the order sellers must provide a full refund of the cost of the item and any postage costs within thirty days.
.
Return of faulty goods : The consumer has a right to return faulty goods up to six months after receipt of the goods. A refund to include the cost of return postage must be offered within thirty days of the customer requesting a refund.
.
Lost items : If the item is lost in transit then, unless proven otherwise, the seller should assume the contract is terminated and provide a refund or deliver the same item.

How Can I Get A Refund

You can request a refund by contacting the supplier through Galloi. They will be able to issue a refund via Paypal, you can request a refund up to 60 days after you have paid for an item

Posting Leads

As a buyer you have the option to attract suppliers directly by posting leads

  • Click ‘My Galloi’ & ‘Buy’ & then ‘Request Product’
  • Under request product, enter product name, specification, quantity and an image of the product
  • You can see your requests and other leads by clicking ‘leads’ located on top of the page underneath ‘My Galloi’
.
Posting leads is only available for premium users only
.

Do I Have To Register

You don’t need to register if browsing the website however in order to buy and sell you will have to register with Galloi.

How To Create An Account

On the home page click ‘Join us’ tab located on the top right of the page. You also have the option to register with your Facebook or LinkedIn account

Set-up and Information needed
.
  • a) Your Information  :  Email, Password & Username
  • b) Trading  Information : Your status (Buyer, Supplier or Both), Company name, address, type & number
  • c) Please accept the ‘terms and conditions’ and click ‘create my account’
  • d) You will then have an activation code send by e-mail, click on link and copy and paste activation code
  • e) Finally decide between the type of membership (Free, Basic or Premium). Please refer to the membership types for additional information

How To Network

Galloi understands trading and business transactions are based on relationships and has built a networking system allowing you to easily connect with any Galloi user.

  • a) Upon clicking user profile click ‘connection with supplier’ located under company logo
  • b) A pop-up screen will appear to confirm a request to be sent, click ‘make connection’
  • c) You will be connected once the recipient accepts your request
.
All your connections can be viewed under ‘My Galloi’ , and then clicking ‘Connections’. Your total number of connections can be viewed both on your visible profile under ‘Shop Info’ and ‘My Galloi’
.

How To Provide Feedback

With Galloi you can rate and leave feedback on both the suppliers and buyers.
.
Ratings : Upon completing your order you will have the ability to rate the supplier on 3 metrics Product,Delivery,Overall experience You can select between 5 stars (5 being the most highest)
.

How much does it cost to sell on Galloi

It is free to join Galloi – there are no sign up costs. We charge a commission fee when you sell an item. Commission Fees We charge 4.5% fix rate on sales commission on the selling price of all items. Commission is not charged on postage nor on the VAT
